The Green Room will be uniquely focused on innovation-based businesses,
which includes new technology, processes, services and science-based
products.

By forming close partnerships with Flinders University, local, state and federal
government, business enterprise centres, venture captial firms, service
providers and a range of other partners, the incubator will offer seed funding
and access to a wealth of resources. It will be the only incubator of its kind in
South Australia and the only business incubator of any kind in the southern
Adelaide region.

Companies wishing to enter The Green Room will be invited to submit an
application, inclusive of their business plan, to an Investment Committee. The
Committee will evaluate the plan for its feasibility and scope based on factors
such as; whether the business plan is viable; whether the business can be
classed as 'innovative'; the management capabilities of the employees; whether
the business has potential for growth and so on.

It is planned that businesses that are able to 'graduate' will be assisted in
finding new premises and will remain associated with the incubator as
'foundation clients.'
